The annual Ray Munoz Memorial Thanksgiving Day Dinner, was held last Thursday, November 27, at the Myrtle Creek Community Center. Members of the Myrtle Creek Lions Club, the sponsor of the event, were very pleased to see the number of volunteers who came out to assist with the dinner. The Munoz family showed up in force to honor Ray. According to organizers there were approximately 175 people who came through line and received a meal. Lions President Janis Clark said that although the attendance numbers have not equaled those prior to the pandemic, the club now knows what to expect and plans to continue the dinner for many more years.
